Cook to Impress: Creative Crepes
If you’re looking for a cooking class that offers something truly unique and delicious, learning how to make crepes is the perfect option! Whether you are exploring savory ingredients or sweet combinations, crepes offer an incredible canvas to experiment with cooking. Chef Kevin will guide you through making some classic recipes or trying something new; get creative by reimagining crepes with exciting twists of flavor. You can even bring friends and make it an event. Learning how to make crepes promises gourmet results every time.
You’ll be cooking:
- Steak, spinach, and mushroom blintzes with balsamic glaze
- Galette Complète (ham, gruyere, and egg) buckwheat crepe cups
- Caramel apple brie parcels
- Tiramisu crepe cake or lemon ricotta and strawberry crepe cake
Wine, beer, and cocktails are available for purchase from our bar. Come early for cocktails (5:30) — class begins at 6:00!

Your instructor, Chef Kevin Appleton, has a passion for food, drink, and fun. He is a former Culinary Instructor at Madison College. He worked at some of the best fine dining restaurants in Chicago and was Executive Chef at Robert Morris College’s Institute of Culinary Arts.
