Led by the incredible Chef Kai and Master Buttermaker Jen Orchard from Royal Guernsey, this interactive cooking class takes you deep into the rich, creamy world of butter. You will explore both the art and science of this kitchen staple while enjoying a fun, social, and welcoming environment.
What You Will Taste and Create
We will dive into a mouth-watering menu designed to highlight butter in all its glory. You will sample appetizers showcasing different styles of butter, including a special tasting of Royal Guernsey butter with its ideal pairings. Your menu for the evening includes:
- Seasonal Flatbread: Caramelized onion, rhubarb jam, smoked mozzarella, baby arugula, and a rich vomFASS balsamic glaze.
- Caprese Salad: Fresh tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil, specialty vomFASS vinegar, and a perfect touch of finishing salt.
- Smoked Salmon: Paired with a bright citrus and bourbon glaze.
- Grilled Sourdough: Slathered generously with premium Royal Guernsey Butter.
- Chocolate Cupcakes: Topped with a smooth, rich coffee buttercream.
